Welcome to Dead House is the first book in the original Goosebumps series. It was released in July 1992.

The 1992 and 2010 Classic Goosebumps cover illustration features Dead House at night, with the front door slightly ajar, and a strange figure illuminated in the window by an orange light.

Synopsis[]

Amanda Benson and her Brother, Josh are moving to a new town called Dark Falls. They have moved into their new neighborhood and start noticing some weird things going on, as well as how dead everyone looks. Amanda and Josh try to find out what's going on, and discover a terrifying secret about the town...
