My Name is Evil' is the 11th episode of The Nightmare Room TV Series.
Premise[]
After an encounter with a fortune teller claims that he brings evil wherever he goes, a boy named Morgan sees mysterious things happening to his friends with all of them pointing to him as the cause.
Differences from the book[]
- In the book, the hero was a girl named Maggie and their friends were three girls named Jilly, Jackie and Judy. Additionally, the friends were sisters. In the episode, the hero is a boy named Morgan Grey whose friends are two boys and two girls
- In the book, the villain was a boy named Glenn Martin. His motivation was to get revenge on Maggie's friends who once played a cruel prank on him. In the episode the villain is a girl named Kristin who framed Morgan out of jealousy of him.
- In the book, Glenn was nice to Maggie all throughout and pretended to be friendly with her while his TV equivalent did not do the same.
- In the book, Maggie's friends had a tendency to be mean to her even early on while Morgan's friends did not.
- In the book, Glenn was defeated by Maggie using her powers to turn him into a chipmunk. Her powers faded away after that as they were on loan from him.
- In the book, when Maggie visited the fortune teller again, she read her palm again and confirmed that she has evil on her, while in the episode she reveals she was just goofing the first time.
- The book did not have a twist ending.
