Full Moon Halloween is the 7th episode in The Nightmare Room TV Series.
Differences from the book[]
- The cast is entirely different. In the book, the protagonist was a boy named Tristan, his friend Rosa and other friends Ray and Bella.
- In the book, the party is held by a teacher called Mr. Moon, and his wife. They pulled off this big prank as a part of a thing they do every year with a new set of kids, which their son Micheal objects to.
- In the book, Tristan and Rosa turn out to both be werewolves, while in the episode only one of the kids is a werewolf.
- While the basic idea of the twist is the same, it plays out differently. In the book, Micheal calls the police on his parents who are arrested. The cops see the werewolf forms of Tristan and Rosa but assume it is just a costume. The book then ended with the werewolf kids ganging up on the others.
- In the book, the plogs were only part of one scene and don't take over the plot like in the episode.
- The book has the Moons doing more to the kids, such as making them put on uncomfortable wolf skins, and forcing them to eat raw animal guts.
- In the book, the fact that it was all a prank is not revealed until near the very end.
Trivia[]
- This episode stars the exact same child cast from the previous episode, School Spirit. A lot of the differences come as a result of only having these cast members to work with. It is not made clear if they are meant to be the same characters. The only ones with the same confirmed names are Freddy and Alexis.
- This episode came out only a month after the book.
